The physiotherapists at The Therapy Centre are all Chartered and members of the Health Professions Council. This gives patients the assurance that they will receive high quality treatment from professionally qualified and regulated physiotherapists.
Philip Duffell MSc MCSP
Philip Duffell qualified in 1985. He has worked with sports injuries at all levels helping local and international athletes including Bedford Rugby and most recently the England Rugby Union U16, U19 and U21 teams. Spinal pain, the knee, arthritic problems and sports injuries are his field of special interest.
Clare Mannion MSc MCSP
Clare joined the practice in 2006 after many years working with sports injuries at the highest levels including the England Rugby League Team, Welsh Rugby League Squad, numerous Rugby League clubs and a Female U 16's Judo Squad. Her areas of special interest are manipulative therapy and muscle imbalance.
Les Wilson BSc Mcsp
Les joined The Therapy Centre in 2003. He has trained to use acupuncture which helps to provide pain relief for musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
Julie Freeland MSc MCSP
Julie joined the practice in 2005 having been qualified for many years. Extensive post graduate training in manipulative therapy has given Julie great expertise in treating joint disorders. She is highly skilled at managing spinal and shoulder problems.
James Barrett BSc MCSP
James has specialised in the field of outpatient physiotherapy since qualifing in 2002. He joined the practice in December 2008 and brings expertise in manual therapy, acupuncture and rehabilitation exercise.
