This includes nail care, the removal of hard skin / corns, treatment of verruca and fungal infection. Podiatry is the treatment of lower limb problems. It may include carrying out specialist examinations and tests such as biomechanical gait analysis. Treatment will include exercises, providing prescription foot support known as orthosis or referral for foot surgery.
